Before I ran ads or built websites, I was on-site pouring slabs, tying steel, and working in the heat like every other bloke in the game. I was a concreter first and proud of it. But as time went on, I noticed a pattern. I saw good, hardworking tradies struggling to keep a steady flow of work, not because they weren’t skilled but because they weren’t being seen. They had no online presence, no way to showcase their work and no clue how to compete with bigger companies that were winning jobs simply because they looked more “professional” online. That never sat right with me. So I decided to do something about it.
I taught myself digital marketing, from running paid ads and building content to understanding what works to bring in leads. I combined that with my firsthand experience in the trade and launched Hardset Media.
